3. Execute the following batch file:
eventlog.bat action monitoring-period
• action: Specify one of the following:
0: Stop outputting failure information
1: Start outputting failure information
when this parameter is omitted, 0 is set.
• monitoring-period: If you specified 1 for action, specify the monitoring
period, from 5 to 720 minutes.
• A space is required between eventlog.bat and action.
• A space is required between action and monitoring-period.
• The command prompt is displayed if the command finishes without
any errors.
4. Close the command prompt.
Viewing the Windows event log
You can view the Windows event log which is output to the SVP.
Procedure
1. From the Windows start menu, click Control Panel > System and
Security > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer.
2. Click Windows Logs > Application in the left pane.
