Releasing the safety belt
1. Press the red button in the lock.
2. Pull catch tongue (6) back to the initial posi-
tion.

ADVICE
After the engine has started, the di-
rection switch must be actuated once
if it was in the forward or reverse po-
sition during start-up. This prevents
inadvertent movement while starting
the engine.
You can also switch to the new direction of travel
when driving at reduced speed.
CAUTION
Danger of accident
The vehicle brakes sharply in that case
and again accelerates in the opposite
direction of travel.

If the inch pedal is pressed completely
down, the vehicle brakes very sharply.
