Attaching cardan shafts
Only use the cardan shafts that are suitable for
and intended for the attachment. They are supplied
with the attachment. The length of the cardan shaft
must be adjusted before the initial attachment.
DANGER
Danger of accident
•
Observe the installation manual of
the cardan shaft before installa-
tion.
•
Adjust the length of the cardan
shaft until it has the largest possi-
ble overlap.
•
Shut off the engine before in-
stalling the cardan shaft
•
Attach protective devices accord-
ing to specification after installa-
tion
•
Secure the cardan shaft guard
against twisting by hooking in the
safety chain (10).
•
Before switching on the PTO shaft,
take care that no one is present in
the danger zone of the vehicle and
the rotating PTO shaft
