For repair work, the jacked-up vehicle must be ad-
ditionally secured against falling with stands. The
stands must be positioned on each side near the
axles.
Replacing wheels
ADVICE
Before detaching the wheel nuts, al-
ways ensure that the parking brake
is set. Observe the instructions de-
scribed in "Jack application point".
1. Loosen all wheel nuts (3) with a wheelbrace
(4) while the vehicle is still on the ground.
2. Only loosen wheel nuts – do not remove
them.
3. Lift the vehicle as described under "Jack (5)
application point (1, 2)".
