Emptying the water separator
The water separator and fuel filter (2) are located
on the left side of the rear end alongside the air
filter (1). The water separator (3) is combined with
the fuel filter (2).

Do not bring fuel into contact with
hot surfaces or electrical compo-
nents
ADVICE
If the view glass (3) is half full of wa-
ter, the engine may not be put into op-
eration, as engine damage will result.
ADVICE
For emptying, use a suitable hose that
you slip over the spout (4) of the drain
device.
1. Open drain device (4) (turning clockwise).
2. Capture fluid draining off in a suitable con-
tainer.
3. Carefully reclose drain device (4), so that no
air enters the system.
ADVICE
Environmental protection
The drained fluid must be disposed of
properly according to applicable regu-
lations.
