Service brakes
CAUTION
Danger of accident
The vehicle is sharply braked when the
brake pedal is pressed.
1. Press brake pedal at slow speed. Vehicle must
brake sharply.
Checking braking and steering function
1. Check the proper functioning of the steering
and braking in a short test drive.

Do not put a vehicle with a defec-
tive steering or braking system in-
to operation.
•
Immediately shut down the vehi-
cle if there are irregularities in the
brake system.
•
Have the vehicle checked by a
specialist workshop
2. Set parking brake.
3. Set vehicle to range 1 or 2 and slowly start
driving.
4. There must be a noticeable resistance when
starting to move and a signal tone must
sound.
