Translation of Original Operating Manual 156319-04 95
1. Set parking brake.
2. Set the direction switch (2) to the neutral po-
sition (centre).
3. Press the inch pedal (3) completely down.
ADVICE
Starting the engine is only possible if
the inch pedal (starting safety switch)
is fully depressed.
4. Set the fine adjustment control (5) to idle
(push in completely).
5. Insert the ignition key (1) in position A and
turn the starter switch clockwise to position
B. Ignition is switched on.
ADVICE
The indicator lights for the battery
(16), engine oil pressure (15) and the
parking brake (13) light up.
6. Turn the ignition key (1) to position C. The
preheating indicator light (11) is illuminated
for approx. 5 seconds.
Preheating times for different temperatures
Above +10° C there is no need to preheat. Preheat
approx. 5 seconds between -5° C and +10° C. Be-
low 5° preheat for at lest 10 seconds.
7. The preheating indicator light (11) goes out if
you switch the ignition key to position D. The
engine is started.
ADVICE
Operate the starter for at most 20
sec. Pause one minute before the next
starting process. After two attempts to
start, consult the Kubota Motors oper-
ating manual for a possible cause.
8. Release the ignition key after starting. The
battery indicator light (16) and the engine oil
pressure indicator light (15) go out.
9. The operating hours counter (10) is activated.
Shutting off engine
1. Turn the ignition key (1) to position C. The
engine is shut off.
