Driving on slopes
DANGER
Danger of accident

Driving on a slope is dangerous
because the vehicle can tip over if
the centre of gravity exceeds the
tipping limit
•
Use the vehicle only if slipping,
crashing or falling over is out of
the question
The following factors reduce the risk:
– proper loading
– low centre of gravity
– low driving speed
– no climbing
– proper tyre pressure depending on the load
– large track width
ADVICE
The driving comfort and traction of the
vehicle can be increased by reducing
the tyre pressure.
We recommend the type of driving described in the
figure for turning on a slope.
