Signal socket

Your vehicle has a 3-pole signal socket from which
the driving speed can be tapped for other devices,
e.g. spreaders.
The signal socket (1) is behind the right door in the
C250, C270 series.
The signal socket (2) is behind the seat under the
plate (2) in the C350, C370 series.
1. Detach the mounting screws from the plate
(2).
2. Carefully lift the plate and lay the signal sock-
et (1) in the cab.
3. Reattach the plate with the screws.
CAUTION
Disconnect the battery with the dis-
connect switch when working on the
electrical system.
