Checking engine oil level

Behind the left tank
ADVICE
Check the engine oil level only with the
vehicle situated horizontally.
1. Check the engine oil level before start-up or
at least 5 min. after shut-down.
2. Pull out the dipstick, wipe it off and then push
it completely back in.
3. Pull the dipstick back out and check the oil
level.
4. The oil level must lie between the MIN and
MAX marks.
