The differential lock prevents the individual drive
wheels from spinning in case of poor traction (loose
or soft ground, steep terrain, etc.).
ADVICE
Switch on the differential lock only in
straight-line travel, at a low driving
speed and with an engine speed of
1200 to 1500 rpm.
ADVICE
The differential lock should general-
ly be switched off when travelling in
curves.
Switching on the differential lock
1. Press switch (1) for differential lock . The in-
dicator light (12) in the multifunction display
lights up. At the same time a signal tone with
an interruption sounds. The differential lock
acts on both axles.
Switching off the differential lock
1. Turn off switch (1) for the differential lock.
