ADVICE
The parking brake can also be set with
the ignition switched off. The ignition
must be switched on to release the
parking brake.
Release parking brake
1. Switch off parking brake switch (10). The
parking brake is released; the indicator lights
in the switch and parking brake indicator light
(13) in the multifunction display go out.
ADVICE
If the parking indicator light (3) in the
multifunction display lights up when
the parking brake is released, there
is not enough pressure in the pres-
sure accumulator to release the park-
ing brake.
ADVICE
If driving is started with the parking
brake set, a signal tone sounds.

Danger of accident
•
Never put the vehicle into opera-
tion with a defective braking sys-
tem.
•
Immediately shut down the vehi-
cle if there are irregularities in the
brake system.
•
Have the vehicle checked by a
specialist workshop
