Safety rules in general
•
Observe your national safety regulations
•
Persons under 16 years of age may not oper-
ate the vehicle
•
Road traffic regulations must be observed
when using public roads
•
Presence inside the vehicle's danger zone is
prohibited
•
Do not allow the engine to run in enclosed
spaces
•
Caution when handling fuel There is an elevat-
ed risk of fire
•
Caution when handling fluids and lubricants;
they may be toxic and corrosive
•
Keep vehicle and attachments clean to avoid
risk of fire
•
Observe warnings and symbols on your vehicle
•
Emergency stopping can be initiated by the
following actions:
Operate service and parking brake in all sce-
narios.
Set drive programme switch to 0.
Set direction of travel to 0.
Cut off gas.
Set ignition to 0.
•
If an inch pedal is faulty, the indicator lamp
flashes (1, see page 60) and the vehicle on-
ly drives at a reduced speed.
Work clothing
•
Only wear snugly fitting clothing when working
with the vehicle
•
Use suitable headwear so that loose hair and
braids cannot get caught in rotating parts
•
Do not wear jewellery such as rings or similar
items while working
