Steering
The vehicle has a hydraulically actuated articulat-
ed-frame steering system. The wheels run on-track
even in curves, and attachments are guided with-
out any lateral offset.
1. Turn the steering wheel (3) in the desired di-
rection.
The possible turning circle diameters depend on the
tyres and the track width of your vehicle
(see Technical Data, table "Track widths", page 38)
Two-stage steering*
The vehicle can be driven with two steering speeds.
•
Indirect steering (road driving: slow steering
speed)
•
Direct steering (working operation: fast steer-
ing speed)
1. Actuate the changeover switch (11). The in-
dicator light in the changeover switch lights
up and direct steering for working operation
is switched on.
ADVICE
With direct steering, the steering an-
gle for a given steering movement is
approx. twice as large as with indirect
steering (ratio 1:2).
CAUTION
Danger of accident
Before driving on roads, set the two-
stage steering to indirect steering (in-
dicator light off).
2. Switch off the two-stage steering with the
changeover switch (11). The indicator light in
