ADVICE
If the parking brake cannot be re-
leased due to a defect, the electrical
brake cylinder (1) must be relieved of
tension.
WARNING
Danger of accident
•
Secure the vehicle with wedges
against roll-away.
CAUTION
Risk of injury
•
The brake cable is under very high
tension
1. Detach the lock nuts (2) on the left and right
side.
2. Carefully unscrew the bolts (3) on the left and
right sides until the brake cables lose tension
and the brakes release.
The parking brake is released and the vehicle can
be moved.
CAUTION
Danger of accident
•
Allow the parking brake to be repaired only by
trained personnel in a specialist shop
