Silence the tone
Either:

Click the (Acknowledge/Silence) toolbar button

Click the Silence button on the display
n
Press the appropriate shortcut key
Acknowledge or confirm a
single message
Either:

Select the message and click the
(Acknowledge/Silence) toolbar button.

Right-click the message then select Acknowledge.

Acknowledge all currently
visible messages
Either:

Click the Acknowledge Page button on the display.
n
For systems with an IKB or OEP keyboard, press the ACK
key.
Depending on the configuration of your system, you may be
prompted to confirm your action.
The way in which you acknowledge (and, if necessary, confirm a message), depends on the
type of message.
You can also click the Acknowledge Page button to acknowledge all messages in the
display, except those that require electronic signatures.
