8.10 Chromatogram Subtract
This feature will subtract the TIC from one chromatogram from the TIC of another
chromatogram. This is generally used to subtract the blank from the sample and
verify the presence of a compound of concern.
1 Overlay the desired chromatograms by using Chromatogram Overlay. Refer
to section 8.9, Chromatogram Overlay, on page 8-49.
2 Select the peak for the desired compound. Record the TIC. (See Figure 8-108.)

3 Right-click on the chromatogram. Click Select Chro to Subtract. (See
