10 TROUBLESHOOTING
10.1 Summary
This chapter describes how to determine the causes of equipment malfunction and to restore proper
function.
If the suggested countermeasures are ineffective, please contact an Ishida Service representative.

• Do not touch or come into contact with any charged electrical components.
•

• Electrical work should only be performed by a qualified electrician.
•
••
• Before performing inspection or maintenance on components not specifically
described in this manual, be sure to turn off the main power switch, lock it with
a key and retain it.

• After turning off the power switch, wait at least 3 minutes before servicing the
weigher.
•
••
• Before starting inspection or maintenance post a clearly written sign
indicating that such work is in progress to prevent other personnel from
accidental powering up the equipment.

• If the checkweigher is installed in an elevated location, take precautions, such
as using a sturdy ladder or platform, to avoid a hazardous fall.
