(1) When using 5-color set
1. Make sure that the printer's operating condition is as follows:
• Printing or other operation is not in progress.
• Operation panel display is in the Normal condition.
2. Press the [POWER] key on Operation panel.
• "CR Mainte.: Start" is displayed on Operation panel.
• If you press the [Cancel] key on Operation panel at this point, you can skip the next procedure and
turn OFF the printer. If you have already performed daily maintenance, you can skip the operation.
• Make sure you perform daily maintenance. If the printer goes into Sleep mode or the
power is turned OFF without daily maintenance, nozzles may get clogged.
3. Press the [Enter] key on Operation panel.
• "Wait for a while" is displayed on Operation panel.
• Maintenance starts.
