/antifreezeinformation.ConsulttheEngineOperationand
MaintenanceManualforcoolantservicelifedetails.
EngineOil
KeepoillevelbetweentheADDandFULLmarks.Neveroperate
anenginewithoillevelbelowtheADDmark.
Toobtainanaccurateengineoillevelreadingthevehiclemust
beparkedonalevelsurfacewiththeengineoffforatleast15
minutesbeforecheckingtheoillevel.Thiswillensuretheoil
islevelintheoilpanandthecirculatedoilhashadachanceto
returntothepan.Itisnotnecessaryfortheoiltobehottoobtain
anaccuratereading.
Whencheckingtheoillevel,thedipstickmustbewithdrawnand
wipedclean,theninsertedallthewayandagainwithdrawnfor
atruecheck.
Useonlyrecommendedviscosityengineoil.RefertotheEngine
OperationandMaintenanceManualforengineoilspecications
andproperoilchoice.
Thelubricatingoilinadieselenginebecomesdarkincolor
aftershortperiodsofengineoperation.Thisdiscolorationisnot
harmfultoenginepartsaslongastheoilandoillterelement
changesareperformedatrecommendedintervals.

•Lowenginepowercanbetheresultofapluggedfuellter.
Fuellterscanplugprematurelyduetotheuseoffuelthat
iscontaminatedwithahighamountofsediment,microbial
growth,orwater.Fuelthathasbeenstoredforlonger
periodsoftimemayalsoreduceengineperformance.
