Tooperatetheseatbeltfollowthesesteps:
1.Slowlypullthethree-pointseatbeltoutoftheretractor
andslowlypullitacrossyourlapfarenoughtoengage
thebuckle.Iftheretractorlockstoosoon,allowtheseat
belttoretractslightly,thenslowlypullitoutagain.
2.Tofastentheseatbelt,insertthetongueintothebuckle
untilitlatches.Givetheseatbeltarmtugtoensure
thatthebuckleissecurelyfastened.
3.Theseatbeltmustbefreetoslidethroughthetongue,
allowingthebelttensiontoequalizeacrosshipsand
chest.Theretractorisalockingtypethatallowstheseat
belttocomeoutandtoadjustforbodymovement.
4.Theseatbeltwillreturntotheretractorasthebody
returnstoitsoriginalposition.Theretractorwillretain
moderatetensionacrossthebodyinitsoperationmode.
5.Theseatbeltisequippedwithacliptoeliminatethe
moderatebelttensionacrossthebody.Itcanbe
adjustedbypressingthebuttonandslidingtheclip
alongtheseatbelt.
6.Toreleasetheseatbelt,pushthebuttonreleaselatch
onthebuckleandgivetheseatbeltatugtoassistthe
seatbeltintotheretractor.
