Itisrecommendedthattheoperatornotresetthegaugeuntilit
hasbeendeterminedifaircleanerserviceisrequired.
Theinitialrestrictionwithanewairlterelementwillvarywithair
cleanerdesignandinstallation.
Afterservicingthelterelement,resettheYELLOWindicatorby
pushingtheresetbuttonandreleasingit.TheYELLOWindicator
willdroptonearorbelowthewindowsotheairrestrictiongauge
canbereused.
NOTE:Afterstartingengine,indicatormaybeseeninlower
partofwindow.Thisisnormalandshouldnotbemistaken
asasignalforelementservice.
AirCleanerElementService
Thisvehiclecomeswithaselectionoftwoaircleaneroptions.
Therstoptionisasingleelement.Thesecondoptionisa
dualelementaircleanerthatisavailableforapplicationsin
excessivelydustyenvironmentsthatmayrequiremorefrequent
serviceintervals.Thesecondaryelementisinsidetheprimary
elementandpreventscontaminantsfromenteringtheengine
airintakesystemduringserviceoftheprimaryelement,orin
caseswheretheprimaryelementbecomesdamaged.Both
optionsareservicedinasimilarmanner.
NOTE:Donotchangetheaircleanerelementconguration
fromthefactory-installedconguration.Ifequippedwith
asingleelementordualelement,thatcongurationmust
staywiththevehicle.Failuretocomplymayaffectengine
performance.
