ThefollowingconditionsareidealformaintainingDEFquality
andshelflifeduringprolongedtransportationandstorage:
•Storagetemperaturebetween23°Fand77°F(-5°Cand
25°C)
•Storageinsealedcontainerstoavoidcontamination
•Avoidanceofdirectsunlight
Long-term,in-vehiclestorage(inexcessof6months)isnot
recommended.Iflongtermstorageisnecessary,periodic
testingoftheDEFisrecommendedtoensureproperDEF
concentration.
ExteriorNoiseEmissions
Manyoperatorsandownersofthetypeofvehiclesdescribed
hereinaresubjecttoFederalMotorCarrierSafetyRegulations
andNoiseEmissionRequirements.Allownersandoperators
areurgedtoobtainacopyandcomplywiththeseregulations.

vehicleforpurposesotherthanresaleandtoeachsubsequent
purchaserthatthisvehicle,asmanufacturedbyNavistar,
wasdesigned,built,andequippedtoconformatthetimeit
leftNavistarcontrolwithallapplicableU.S.Environmental
ProtectionAgencyNoiseControlRegulations.
Thiswarrantycoversthisvehicleasdesigned,built,and
equippedbyNavistarandisnotlimitedtoanyparticularpart,
component,orsystemofthevehiclemanufacturedbyNavistar.
Defectsindesign,assembly,orinanypart,component,or
systemofthevehicleasmanufacturedbyNavistaratthetime
thevehicleleftNavistar’scontrol,whichcausenoiseemissions
toexceedFederalstandards,arecoveredbythiswarrantyfor
thelifeofthevehicle.
