Atleastonceortwiceamonthturnontheairconditionerfora
fewminuteswhiletheengineisrunning.Thisperiodicoperation
keepsallthemechanicalpartsofyourairconditioneringood
operatingcondition.
Itisnormalforsmallamountsofwatertodrainoutoftheair
conditionermodule.Thiswateriscondensedmoistureremoved
fromtheairinsidethevehicle.
Correctairowmayberestoredbyeitherreplacingthelter(s),
whichcanbedonewithouttools,orbycleaningthelters.The
lter(s)maybecleanedbyusingapowerwasherwithasoap
solution.Keepthesprayheadatleast6inchesawayfromthe
ltertoavoiddamage.Rinsethoroughly.
NOTE:Ifyourairconditioningperformanceseemslower
thanexpected,checkthefrontoftheA/Ccondenserforan
accumulationofdirtorinsects.Cleanwithagentlewater
sprayfrombehindtheradiatorandthroughthecondenser
asrequired.Checkfordirtanddebrisinboththecaband
sleeperHVACintakeltersthatmayreduceairow.
Dehumidication
Theheater-defrostersystemscanbeoperatedsimultaneously
withtheairconditionerduringmildweatherandhighhumidity
conditionstodehumidifythecabair.Turnthemodebuttonto
oneoftheA/Cpositionsandpositionthetemperatureknobat
acomfortabletemperaturelocation.Theairconditionerwill
removethehumiditywhiletheheaterkeepsthecabcomfortable.
