Switches
Sixswitchesarelocatedonthelowerleftandrightsideofthe
instrumentpanelgaugecluster.Congurationsareoptional.
Blankcoverplateswillbeusedinspacesthatdonothave
switchesinstalledatthoselocations.
Headlights
Theheadlightswillbeat100%brightnesswiththeheadlight
switchactivated.Theparklights,taillights,markers,and
clearancelightswillbeonaswell.Analarmwillsoundifthe
headlightswitchisonandtheignitionswitchisoff.
Yourvehiclemaybeequippedwithanoptionalheadlightwarning
alarmthatsoundsimmediatelyafterignitionswitchisturnedto
OFFposition,whenheadlightswitchison,andthedriver'sdoor
isclosed.Italsosoundswhenheadlightswitchison,ignition
switchisinOFFposition,andthedriversdoorisopen.
Theheadlightsareoperatedinavarietyofmodes:
DaytimeRunningLights(DRL)
TheDaytimeRunningLightsfeatureprovidesforlowbeam
headlightsat75%brightnesswhenevertheParkingBrakeis
releasedandtheignitionswitchisintheONposition.Thelights
willstayonuntiltheParkingBrakeisengaged.
LightsOnWithWipers
Thisfeatureallowstheheadlights(lowbeam)tobeautomatically
turnedonwhenthewindshieldwipersareinsteadyor
intermittentmode(notwasher).Thelowbeamswillremain
onuntiltheignitionswitchisturnedtotheOFFpositionorthe
headlightsarecycledonandthenoff.
ParkLights
Theparklights,taillights,markers,andclearancelightswillturn
onwhentheheadlightswitchisintheparkorheadlightposition.
PanelLighting
ThepanellightingbrightnessiscontrolledbythePANELrocker
switch.Toincreasethebrightnessoftheinstrumentpanel
gaugeclusterlighting,continuallypresstheupperportionof
therockerswitch.T odimtheinstrumentpanelgaugecluster
lighting,continuallypressthelowerportionoftherockerswitch.
