CAUTION
Topreventpropertydamage,avoidunapproved
lubricants,whichcancausepremature
componentfailure.RefertotheLubricantsand
SealerSpecicationtableforproperlubricants.
•Wipecleanalldirtanddebrisfromgreasettingsbefore
applyinggrease.Ifthettingisnotcleaned,dirtcanbe
pushedintothecomponentwiththegrease.Alwaysll
greasetothepointwhereoldgreaseandcontaminants
areforcedoutfromthepartandonlynewgreasecomes
out.Ifattingdoesnotacceptlubricationduetodamage
orinternalstoppage,replacewithanewtting.Remove
excessgreasefromttingsandothersurfacesafter
applyinggrease.
•Somevehiclesmayhaveoptionalremotemounted
greasezerksfortheclutchcross-shafts.Thesettings
reduceservicetimebyprovidingconvenientaccessto
clutchcross-shaftbushinggreasezerks.Greasemay
beappliedthroughtworemotemountedgreasezerks
mountedtothebottomofthetransmissionbellhousing.

CAUTION
Topreventpropertydamage,useonly
recommendedviscosityengineoil.Refertothe
EngineOperationandMaintenanceManualfor
engineoilspecications.
•Wait15minutesaftershuttingofftheenginebefore
checkingtheoillevel.Thisgivestheoiltimetodrain
backtotheoilpan.
•Cleanallcapsandllplugspriortoremovaltoprevent
dirtanddebrisfromenteringsystem.
•FillingthepowersteeringuidabovetheMAXCOLD
markwhencoldwillresultinuidoverowwhenhot.
•IfengineiscoldandcoolantisabovetheMIN/ADDline,
noadditionalcoolantisneeded.Excessivellingwhen
coldcancausetanktooverowwhenhot.
•Whencheckingtheaxlehubuidlevel,maintainuidlevel
tolllineonhubcap.
•Checktherearaxle(s)ventforblockage.Blockagecan
causeexcessivepressureintheaxleandcreateleaks.
