Withtheengineoff,visuallyinspectthechargeaircoolercore
andradiatorcoreassemblyfordebrisandcloggingofexternal
ns.Priortoengineoperation,removeanydebrisblockingthe
core.
Thecoresmaybecleanedbyexternallybackushingthem
withcompressedairand/orwater.Usehigh-pressureairor
waterThextonradiatorcleaningwandwith90-degreetipP/N
4106-NAV,availablefromyourInternationaldealer,forbest
results.

CoolantLevelCheck
WARNING
Topreventpropertydamage,personalinjury,and
/ordeath,andtopreventhotcoolantorsteam,
useonlythefollowingproceduretoremovethe
pressurecapfromtheradiatororexpansion
tank.Allowtheenginetocoolrst.Wrapathick,
heavyclotharoundthecap.Unscrewthecap
slowlytoallowpressuretoreleasefromunder
thecap.Afterthepressurehasbeenreleased,
thepressurecapmayberemoved.
WARNING
Topreventpropertydamage,personalinjury,and
/ordeath,donotexceedthepressureratingon
thedeaerationtankcap.Ensurethatthepressure
ratingofthedeaerationtankcapmatchesthat
listedonthesideofthetank,orthetankmay
burst.
CAUTION
Topreventpropertydamage,ifthecoolantshould
getextremelylowandtheengineveryhot,letthe
enginecoolforapproximately15minutesbefore
addingcoolant;then,withtheenginerunning,
addcoolantslowly.Addingcoldcoolanttoahot
enginemaycrackthecylinderheadorcrankcase.

FillingInstructions
NOTE:Ifsystemhasbeendrained,llwithfresh50/50
dilutedconcentratecoolantor50/50pre-mixedcoolant.
Ifthesystemhasbeenushedwithwater,asignicant
amountofthefreshwaterushwillremaininthesystem.In
thiscase,rellingwithamixturewithahigherpercentage
(75%)ofcoolantconcentrateisadvisedinordertoachieve
analmixturecloseto50/50.
