Auto format
Description
The ‘Auto format’ option allows you to specify that the se-
lected media size should be based on the size of your origi-
nal.
Note:
Only sizes present in the specified paper series will be con-
sidered for use with the auto format function, unless nothing
appropriate can be selected. In the latter case, the best fitting
format in the specified paper series will be proposed.

Fit method
Description
The ‘Fit method’ option allows you to define on which media
size an original will be printed if the specified media size is
not available.
The following buttons are available:

Exact fit
: The original will only be printed if the specified
media size is available.

Next smaller
: If the specified media size is not available,
the original will be printed on the next smaller size.

Exact fit
: The 9600 will choose the best possible fit meth-
od.

Feed preference
Description
The ‘Feed preference’ option allows you to define which me-
dia type is to take preference when the Automatic media se-
lection option is active:
- Sheet then roll
