2 From the computer or control system, start a serial session using HyperTerminal or a similar utility.
3 If prompted for a password, log in with the local admin account's remote access password. If
prompted for admin or user name, see Using the API with the Maximum Security Profile Enabled.
The system can be configured to require login credentials on any port. To enable login mode, go to
Serial Ports > Serial Port Options.
