MA-428 ENHANCED LAN BRIDGE MODULE ADAPTER
The MA-428 Enhanced LAN Bridge module adapter provides a high performance, remote, self-
learning Ethernet bridge. It is used for bridging applications or as a LAN extender or segmenter over
bit stream type infrastructures for data channel modules such as the RFL DS-562NC. The MA-428
replaces the MA-427 and provides features not found in the MA-427 module adapter. Therefore the
MA-427 and MA-428 are not compatible. Both ends of the channel must be either MA-427 or
MA-428, they cannot be mixed.
