In addition to the P code, it is also possible to turn service on or off for the card by sending SRVC =
ON or SRVC = OFF in the parameter field of a SET command. The S code appears in response to a
STATUS? query, in the format:

CHANNEL CARD 3, TYPE 121
S01 = 00 (B00000000);
This format is similar to that of the P code, but instead of representing switches, the five least
significant digits of the binary number represent the remote status messages as shown in Table 6. The
three most significant digits are not used.
