Note 6. Service On/Off
The service on/off setting via the SCL interface disables local tripping but does not
disable T1 transmission of data to the remote MTS. The toggle switch on the front of
the card must be in the disable position to disable transmission of data to the remote
MTS. The toggle switch also disables local tripping.
Note 7. Long Shelf Alert
If Long Shelf Alert is enabled, any alerts on the Transfer Trip module will be
delayed in reporting to the common module for alarm timer delay x100 (i.e. P08 x
100). If alert is cleared during the delay, the shelf alert will still occur, but multiple
alerts during the same period will count as one shelf alert. If disabled, the shelf
alert will follow the local module alert relay.
Note 8. Unblock Enable
This function will provide a local trip during an MTS communication outage
lasting 20ms or more. When activated, the local trip will last for 150ms.
