Paper Registration Drive
When the registration sensor [A] detects the leading edge of the paper, the registration motor [B] stops the
paper at the registration rollers [C, D] for a short while to correct the skew in the paper.
Mylar [E] touches the upper surface of roller [C]. This mylar removes dust from the paper while it passes
the registration rollers.
• Use SP1003 (Registration Buckle Adjustment) to adjust the registration motor timing for each paper
feed station or the duplex tray. For details see “5. Service Tables”.
