7.1.5.18 wlan any ssid (Client)
Description
With this command, you enable the "Any SSID" function. This setting is activated as default.
In client mode, the SCALANCE W700 attempts to connect to the access point with the best
transmission quality and that has suitable security settings. The clients can only connect to
the access point on which the "Broadcast SSID" option is enabled.
Note
This command is only available in the client mode.
Requirement
You are in the Interface Configuration mode of the WLAN interface.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli (config-if-wlan-0-X)#
Syntax
Call the command without parameter assignment:
wlan any ssid
Result
The function is enabled.
Further notes
You display the setting with the show wlan client <wlan 0/X> command.
You disable the function with the no wlan any ssid command.
