Table 6- 4 Parameters for the scaling characteristic
p0777
X coordinate of the 1st characteristic point [% of p200x]
p200x are the parameters of the reference variables, e.g. p2000 is the reference
Y coordinate of the 1st characteristic point [V or mA]
X coordinate of the 2nd characteristic point [% of p200x]
Y coordinate of the 2nd characteristic point [V or mA]
Setting the characteristic of the analog output
You must define your own characteristic if none of the default types match your particular
application.
The inverter should convert a signal in the value range -100% … 100% into a
6 mA … 12 mA output signal via analog output 0.
Proceed as follows to set the characteristic to match the example:
Go online.
Select the "Analog outputs" tab in the
"Inputs/outputs" screen form in the inverter
Set analog output 0 to "Unipolar current output
(+4 mA ... +20 mA)".
Open the "Scaling" window of analog output 0.
Set the lower current value (y1) to 6 mA and the
upper value (y2) to 12 mA.
Set the lower percentage value (x1) to 0% and the
upper value (x2) to 100%.
Go into the "PARAMS" menu.
Select "EXPERT" as a parameter filter.
Set p0776[0] = 2
This defines analog output 0 as a current output.
Set p0777[0] = 0.0 (x1)
Set p0778[0] = 6.0 (y1)
Set p0779[0] = 100.0 (x2)
Set p0780[0] = 12.0 (y2)
You have adapted the characteristic of the analog output to match the example.
