WORK OPERATION 5
MHL380 D 5.19
 When traveling with loads, consider how this
might change the response of the machine:
(reduced stability due to dynamic loads,
avoid sudden changes in speed and direc-
tion).
 When the machine is at a standstill, the
parking brake (142/65) must be applied.
When the parking brake is applied, the oscil-
lating axle is automatically locked.
Machine with outriggers down
 During working operation, the 4-point out-
rigger must be set down firmly on "even"
ground so that the wheels no longer touch
the ground. This must also be monitored
continuously during operation, and the sup-
port cylinders must be readjusted if neces-
sary.
 j
The 4-point outrigger must be retracted
completely prior to traversing (risk of acci-
dent).
 This must also be monitored continuously
during operation, and the support cylinders
must be readjusted if necessary.
