6. CONVENIENCE FUNCTIONS
• Astigmatism
Click the [Astigmatism] button, and the
astigmatism screen appears. This
screen explains the refractive error of
astigmatism.
Click the [Corrected] button. The anima-
tion explains how the refractive error is
corrected by using a cylinder lens.
• Presbyopia
Click the [Presbyopia] button, and the
presbyopia screen appears. This screen
explains the status of presbyopia.
Click the [Far View] button. The screen
explains the eye refraction status when
the person who has emmetropia for far
point and presbyopia for near point sees
a far object.
Click the [Near View] button. The screen
explains the eye refraction status when
the person who has emmetropia for far
point and presbyopia for near point sees
a near object.
Click the [Corrected] button. The anima-
tion explains how a person having pres-
byopia sees a near object by using a
single-focal lens.
Click the [Far View (C)] button. The ani-
mation explains how a person, who is
wearing the single-focal lens for near
point, sees a far object.
