One of the methods of analyzing data and warehousing cotton for
spinning is by Category. If this is the method you use, the Categories
should be defined before utilizing the 940 DataManager. The Reports
and Histograms that are generated by the 940 DataManager use these
Category definitions. It is important to define Categories prior to
creating a Histogram so that you can look at them to analyze data
graphically.
Though each of the fiber properties should have a Category definition, if
the number of categories equals zero (0), no categories are calculated.
