PROCEDURE
CAUTION
Make sure that you do not cause damage to the running surface of the cylinder liner
when you operate the grinding device.
1 Put applicable protection below the cylinder liner to keep particles out of the area.
2 Attach the grinding device (001) to the cylinder liner (002) (refer to the Manufacturer’s
Instruction Manual and Figure 7-7).
3 Attach an applicable air supply to the grinding tool (001).
4 Use the grinding tool to carefully remove the unwanted edge (003) from the cylinder
liner (002).
5 Make sure that you get the radius r = 8 mm as shown.
6 Remove waste particles from the scavenge space.
7 Clean the cylinder liner bore.
