PROCEDURE
1 If you use a new injection valve (004, Figure 7-46), prepare it as follows:
1.1 Remove the new injection valve from its package.
1.2 Install the correct nozzle tip.
2 Use white spirit (for example Shellsol TD, Shellsol T or Solvent FP68) to clean and
remove grease from the injection valve.
3 Make sure that the sealing face in the cylinder cover is in good condition. If necessary,
grind the sealing face, refer to section 7.5.2 Cylinder cover - grind the sealing face for
injection valve.
4 Make sure that new O-rings are correctly installed.
5 Put the injection valve (004) carefully in the valve bush (005) of the cylinder cover.
6 Place two stud bolts and turn them into the valve bush (005).
7 Turn the nuts of the stud bolts equally to insert the injection valve into the valve bush
(005).
8 Remove the stud bolts.
9 If the spring cage (002) was disassembled, make sure that the cup springs (003) are
correctly assembled, thus the distance between spring guide and bush (002) is
1.8 +-0.2 mm.
10 Apply Never-Seez NSBT to the threads and the seating surface of the screws.
11 Equally torque the screws (001) to 35 Nm.
12 If the spring guide is not flush with the spring cage (002) - torque equally again the
screws (001) until the spring guide is flush with the spring cage (002).
13 Connect the cable (006) to the terminal box.
