PROCEDURE
1 On the gas pipes, close the shut-off valves (not shown).
2 Set to OFF the gas monitor.
3 Disconnect the power supply to the applicable gas detector (001, Figure 14-5).

4 Remove the signal cable (002, Figure 14-6) from the gas detector.
5 Remove the four screws (003) from the gas detector (001).
6 Remove the gas detector (001).
7 Put the gas detector (001) on a clean, dry surface.
8 If necessary, attach the extension cable (004) to the electrical cable (002).
NOTE: If you use the extension cable (004), make sure that you use the terminal
blocks (005).
9 Attach the indicator (006) to the gas detector (001) with two Allen screws.
10 Attach the splash guard (007) to the gas detector (001) with two Allen screws.
11 Attach the adapter (008) to the splash guard (007).
