NOTE: You must first start the engine control system before you start the
spare LDU-20 in the ECR. The spare LDU-20 in the ECR will be
synchronized with the master LDU-20 in the local control panel through
the Ethernet cable.
1.14 Set to ON the LDU-20.
1.15 Do a check to make sure that the LDU-20 operates correctly. If you get an error
message, speak to or send a message to WinGD.
1.16 If applicable, start the engine at the remote control system (RCS), refer to the
Operation Manual.
NOTE: The engine will do a standard start.
2 To install an LDU-20 in the engine control room do the steps that follow:
NOTE: To replace a defective LDU-20 in the ECR, you must use only the spare item.
Do not use the LDU-20 from the local control panel.
2.1 Get access to the rear of the LDU-20. Refer to the documentation of the control
panel manufacturer.
2.2 Do Step 1.12 to Step 1.16.
