If AM or pulse modulation is on, the signal generator attempts to set up FM with the same
settings and turns off the other modulation.
S4 (Modulation Source Off)
If PM is the current active function, pulse modulation is disabled by mapping to the following
command:
[:SOURce]:PULM:STATe OFF
If the last code executed is S2 or S3, internal modulation is turned off for the AM and FM:
[:SOURce]:AM[1]:STATe OFF
[:SOURce]:FM[1]:STATe OFF
If the last code executed is S1, external modulation is turned off for the AM and FM:
[:SOURce]:AM[1]:STATe OFF
[:SOURce]:FM[1]:STATe OFF
If the current active function is AM or FM, the appropriate modulation is turned off:
[:SOURce]:AM[1]:STATe OFF
[:SOURce]:FM[1]:STATe OFF
If S4 is executed with S1, S2, or S3, it will turn off the current modulation.
S5 (DC FM)
FM becomes the active function.
In addition, the following commands are mapped:
[:SOURce]:FM[1]:SOURce EXTernal1
[:SOURce]:PULM:STATe OFF
[:SOURce]:AM[1]:STATe OFF
[:SOURce]:FM[1]:EXTernal[1]:COUPling DC
[:SOURce]:FM[1]:STATe ON
