TDEC (Transmitter and Dispersion Eye Closure)
TDEC is the measured value of the eye opening of the NRZ signal and is
calculated by the following formula.
For details, refer to 95.8.5.2 “TDEC measurement method” of the IEEE
802.3.
TDEC = (dB)
R: Noise added at the receiver
It is obtained from the measured results indicated by square-dot
histogram in the figure below.
