2.11 Windows Security Measures
MP2110A uses Windows Embedded Standard 7 (WES7) 64 bit version or
Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC (Win10). When connecting
MP2110A to a network, make sure the network is secure and protected
from viruses. Additionally, it is recommended to take the following
security measures to add protection against malware (malicious software
such as viruses).
● Activating firewall
● Installing important Windows update programs
● Using antivirus software
The security measure settings condition of this product can be confirmed
from the Control Panel of Windows.
For WES7:
1. Click
Start → Control Panel from the Windows menu bar hidden in
the lower part of the screen.
2. Click
System and Security → Action Center.
3. Click
Security, and confirm security measures settings condition.
For Win10:
1. Click
Start ( ) → Windows system → Control Panel from the
Windows menu bar hidden in the lower part of the screen.
2. With View by: Category, click
System and Security → Security and
Maintenance.
3. Click
Security, and confirm security measures settings condition.
Note:
Security warnings are not displayed by factory default.
