6.8.3 Paging Zone Setting
Users shall assign the message playback for each zone. Take the picture below as an example,
when the EVAC Input 1 has been triggered, the Zone 1 of IDA8C 1 controller shall be play the
assigned EVAC message, as for Zone 2 and Zone 3 shall be played with A_U message. In case the
multiple EVAC Inputs have been trigger and more than one message needs playing in same zone
simultaneously, the system shall operate by the order of priority.
Flash Zone Visible: Enable this option to request the EVAC LED of the selected zones on IDA8C
to flash for evacuation warning purpose. For example: When there's a fire emergency and the E4
evac input channel is triggered, the EVAC LED of Z3 and Z5 will flash on the IDA8 front panel, and
the EVAC LED of Z4 will light up constantly.
