3.1.4 IDA8SL
The IDA8SL Low-Impedance slave unit houses advanced audio digital signal processing (DSP),
matrix control functions and a digital message player, along with amplifier monitoring with hot-swap
amplifiers and low-impedance line monitoring. Each input and output channel is fitted with a wide
range of pre-and post-processing devices such as volume controllers, routing mixers and switches,
priority and paging components, equalizers, compressors, limiters and delay-lines.
Security & Connectivity
In accordance with EN54-16 and BS5839/8, full monitored supervision from paging microphone
capsule to the end of loudspeaker line.
The IDA8SL supports redundant loop network cabling.
Up to 48 simultaneous audio channels per local network.
Up to 256 zones in a local network.
3.1.4.1 Front Panel
System Fault LED:
This LED will light up when a system fault fault is detected.
