Volume Control:
Here you can use a cross-tip screwdriver to adjust the volume of the speaker, mic and chime of
PPM-AS.
Terminator:
The terminator switch for Master-Slave connection with junction boxes, see Consoles and
Accessories > Junction Box.
Keypad connector:
The keypad connector on PPM-AS for connecting to the PPM Keypad.
Please make sure the hardware version is matching. If connecting with the wrong hardware
type, the circuit in the keypad will burn out.

PPM Keypad:
Keypad connector:
The PPM keypad connector for connecting to the PPM-AS. Every keypad is shipped with one
flexible flat cable.
Keypad connector:
The keypad connector for connecting to the next keypad, one PPM-AS can have 2 keypads for
extending the keys.
RJ45 connector (PPM-AS):
The RJ45 connector for connecting to the PDC port on IDA8/ECS processor.
When connected the PPM-AS to the junction box, please note the master PPM should use
the 10-pin CAT5 cable, and Slave PPM should use with 8-pin CAT5 cable. See Junction Box
chapter for details.
3.2.1.1.3 Connection with PPM JB Junction Box
The wiring examples of connecting the PPM-AS via PPM JB junction box on IDA8, ECS, LAPGT2
processor can be the points as below,
Connect with one PPM-AS device.
Cascade with multiple PPM-AS devices (max. units:10).
Please refer to Connection with PPM-AS chapter.
3.2.1.1.4 Configuration
The example here is the IDA8 system, the configuration is the same for ESC, LAPG2T and other
Ateis Audio Processor.
