Element Description
Bypass/Mute: Disable/mute the audio channel.
RTO: An input channel 'Routed To Output(s)'.
Overload: Light up if the signal of an input channel is
bigger than Overload Thd.
Volume: The VU-Meter shows the channel of RMS
level.
Signal: Light up if the audio signal presents above -
30 dB from the chosen 'Sensitivity'.
Monitor: Monitor if the PDC cable is open or short.
When there's fault, IDA8 system will report [PDC
Error] fault.
The CD8, CD16, PSS and CD-Touch support this
monitor function.
Level: The signal output level of channel.
Overload Thd.: A threshold value to determine if the
signal of a channel is overloaded or not.
6.22.2 PDC Output
This component controls and monitors the PDC output signal parameters. The output component
represents the physical analog inputs accessible on the PDC port of the Audio Processor. There are
four ports (A to D) which represent different channels of the PDC port. Some consoles like PSS-AS
which transfers audio signals via PDC. To outputs an audio signal via PDC port, you need to create a
PDC output component in the design window.
