BPDU Skew detected
• Skew
message will appear when the network is bad. Check whether the number of packets
transmitted by sender is almost same as that of receiver using the show spanning-tree
statistics command. Number of packets received on receiver switch should be almost
same as the number of BPDU packets transmitted by sender switch.
Problem with interoperating with CISCO device
• Check whether the cisco-interoperability command is enabled on port connected to Cisco
using show spanning-tree interface <interface> command. If TRUE then the
user can check the packets sent to CISCO and received from CISCO and analyze whether
the packet structure is according to the standard.
